Thanks for taking the time to share your skills with the rest of us.
It is very interesting to see/learn studio photography.

Creating has always been a weakness for me. My skills are capturing what I see going on around me.
There is always so much to learn in photography. Keeping up with digital photography alone requires much dedication on behalf of the shooter then you have to know how to merge technical expertise with creativeness.

I enjoy reading blogs like yours and seeing how things are done, there are always "wow!" moments.

Thanks again,

Ha-ha. I was kidding about Russian:-)
Those drops were natural creation of the cold beer and humid Atlanta climate, even in a studio:-) I did not spray it with anything.

@Alex Koloskov,

Thanks mate! that was a good explanation, but regarding the water drops, did you use Glycerin mixed with water spray? or it was just a cold bottle on advance and then you sprayed it with water?

Explain it in russian?!! I'm afraid it's gonna take me way longer to understand it, better keep it english bro :P

Thanks Alex :)

Adam,
I can't find a setup for the photo you've mentioned:
<img src="http://www.akelstudio.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/food-photography-beer-shot-atlanta-product-photographer.jpg" alt="product photography bottle of beer by atlanta photographer alex koloskov" />

However, it is easy to pull up the thing from a head when I look at the photo:-)
So, here it is:
It was shot on a brown acrylic plastic background, lit from top using a spot light.
2 large softboxes from the sides ob the bottle (you see a reflection from them), one narrow spot was behind the bottle, creating that glow in the middle of the bottle. It was easy to highlight bottle from behind because the label is mostly transparent.
The 4th light was a beauty dish on top of the the subject: you can see a little reflection from it on a water drops on the 'shoulders' of the bottle.

Hope this will help you to get an idea. if you need more explanation, let me know, would try to explain you in Russian:-)
Wish you good luck.

Adam,
Let me look up in the archives: I may have an actual image of the setup from that shot. if not, I'll try to recover it from the memory:-)
Thank you!
